Baby Class Holiday Package – End of Term 1, 2023 (Maryhill Nursery and Primary School)

Maryhill Nursery and Primary School prepared this holiday package for Baby Class children aged 3–4 to use at the end of Term 1, 2023. It covers several learning areas: social development, numbers and mathematical concepts, health habits, reading, language development and general knowledge. Learners match, circle, trace, colour and shade pictures, shapes, numbers 0–6 and letters a–h. They also practise the early sounds s, a, t, i, p and n, and do pre-writing work such as drawing standing sticks. Other tasks ask children to name body parts, identify things used to keep the body clean, recognise classroom objects and name basic colours. The package gives young learners practice during the school break.
