Baby Class Language Development II (Reading) End of Term III Exam 2022

This two-page reading examination is for Baby Class learners aged 3 to 4 and was set for the end of Term III in 2022. It covers Language Development II and focuses on early phonics. Learners circle the correct letter sound, match sounds to pictures and circle the picture that goes with a given sound. They also match identical letter sounds and fill in missing letters in short words such as hat, jug, moon and dog. The final task asks them to read and circle. Spaces for the learner's name, school and class are provided. Teachers can use it to assess pre-reading and letter-sound recognition skills.
