Middle Class Learning Area 2 End of Year Exam 2023 (Term 3)

This four-page end-of-year exam for Middle Class nursery learners covers Learning Area 2, which deals with language development. It was set in 2023 by The Pearl Educational Consult. Learners complete simple 'This is a…' sentences using a word bank (sun, chair, moon, flower, basket). They read familiar words such as bag, drum, fish and tree and draw them. Other tasks ask learners to match words to numbered pictures, circle the odd letter in a group, and talk about pictures. The paper builds early reading, vocabulary and letter recognition, and teachers or parents can use it for revision or assessment at the end of the year.
