S1 English and Literature Holiday Work

This Senior 1 English and Literature holiday assignment combines oral traditions, family history and novel study. Learners ask parents or guardians for cultural stories and write down a favourite. They also learn an old traditional song from friends to share with the class. A creative task asks learners to gather information about relatives and construct a detailed family tree using available materials. For the novel Moses in Trouble, learners summarise every chapter, list the characters and explain their choices of two liked and two disliked characters.
