Baby Class Home Learning Activities – Weeks 1 and 2 (19th May)

This home learning pack is for Baby Class learners and covers weeks 1 and 2. Children colour pictures, circle words and match them to pictures, and shade simple objects named with short words. In number work they read, shade and match the numbers 1 to 5. They also name and shade basic shapes such as a star, rectangle, heart and oval. The phonics section asks children to fill in the missing 'a' sound in short words, and a word bank is included for parents. The oral section has simple questions about family, school and hygiene for an adult to read aloud. The pack ends with step-by-step instructions for making a paper copter at home.
