English Language Paper 2 (112/2) Marking Guide

This marking guide is for English Language Paper 112/2. Section A lists the marking points and sample summaries for two summary questions about the Orient Express. One covers what attracts passengers and the other covers the duties of a steward, and each has a word limit. Question 2 gives model answers for a comprehension passage about a meeting of the Diallobe people on whether their children should get a foreign education. This includes meanings of words and phrases, plus a multiple-choice key. Question 3 gives expected sentence rewrites for grammar and a second multiple-choice key. Marks are shown for each item.
