KAPSHA Primary 5 English End of Term II Examination

This is a Primary Five English end of Term II examination set by the Kampala Primary Schools Headteachers' Examinations Committee (KAPSHA). Learners have 2 hours 15 minutes. Section A has 50 short grammar questions. These include correct word forms, opposites, one-word substitutes, plurals, rearranging jumbled words and joining sentences with structures such as because, than, in order to, both, prefer, if, either...or, while, so...that and who. Section B has longer tasks: a comprehension passage about a family trip to Kidepo National Park, a poem about nationalities, putting sentences in order to form a story, questions on an onion farmer's work plan, and a gap-filling story.
