These are teacher-prepared Primary 5 English grammar lesson notes for Term III. They teach how to join sentences with conjunctions such as both…and, although, but, though, when, while, as, after/having, because, since and for, in spite of, despite, either…or and neither…nor. Each lesson states the topic, aspect and skills, explains the grammar rule, and gives worked examples. Every lesson ends with practice exercises. Learners join pairs of sentences and also split joined sentences back into two separate clauses. The notes suit classroom teaching, homework and revision in upper primary.
