Man's Quest for God – S4 CRE Notes

These Senior 4 Christian Religious Education notes deal with the sub-theme Man's Quest for God. They begin with the qualities of God and examples of each from the Bible. Next they cover how people seek God today and what gets in their way. Other sections describe how God was sought in African traditional society, including local names for God, and compare that with present-day Christian practice. The notes then look at how people sought God in church history, using St Clement of Alexandria and St Augustine of Hippo as examples, and close with Old and New Testament teaching. Guiding questions are included for revision.
