Middle Class Learning Area 4 (Number Work) End of Year Exam 2023, Term 3

This four-page end-of-year exam for Middle Class nursery learners covers Learning Area 4, which deals with early mathematical concepts. Learners fill in missing numbers in a sequence and circle the smallest number in a set. They also add small numbers, count pictures and write the totals, and name common shapes such as a circle, square, cone, star and kite. Other sections ask learners to write number names from zero to twenty, complete the spelling of the days of the week and count pairs of objects. The paper ends with oral questions on counting body parts and the number of days in a year. Teachers can use it for end-of-year assessment or revision.
