Middle Class Mathematical Concepts End of Term I Exam 2023

This five-page end of Term I examination from 2023 was set by Outreach Schools Examinations Board for Middle Class nursery learners aged four to five. It covers Learning Area 4, Mathematical Concepts. Children circle the correct number, draw balls to show a given number, count groups of objects and match them to numerals, and count pictures and write the totals. The last section asks learners to match the names of basic shapes to their pictures: square, rectangle, circle, triangle and star. The paper fits early number work with numbers up to about seven and simple shape recognition. Teachers can use it for assessment or as revision practice.
