Middle Class Mathematical Concepts (Learning Area 4) Beginning of Term III Exam 2023

This five-page Beginning of Term III examination from 2023 is for Middle Class nursery learners aged 4 to 5. It covers Learning Area 4, Mathematical Concepts. Children draw objects to show given numbers and name shapes such as circles, squares, triangles, ovals and zigzags, using a word bank. They also match the number words zero to five with their numerals and group items from a big set into smaller sets. The paper has spaces for the learner's name, school and class, so it can be used to check early number and shape skills at the start of the term.
