P.5 Art Scheme of Work – Term 3

This teacher-prepared scheme of work sets out eleven weeks of Primary Five art lessons for Term 3. The early weeks cover taxation, including key terms, the uses of taxes and the bodies that collect them, such as URA and KCCA. Learners then plan and carry out a market survey, choose information-gathering techniques and look for business opportunities. Practical lessons follow on types and uses of pots, drawing and shading a pot, cutting stencils and painting. The scheme ends with surfaces, cleaning materials and cleaning methods. Each week lists competences, content, methods, activities, life skills, teaching aids and curriculum references.
