P.5 English Pre-End of Term 3 Examination 2023 – Wakiso Christian School

This Primary Five English paper was set by Wakiso Christian School as its pre-end of Term 3 examination in 2023. It runs to 10 pages and allows 2 hours 15 minutes. Section A has 50 short items on word forms, filling gaps, one-word substitution, abbreviations, alphabetical order, opposites, plurals and rewriting sentences with structures such as too...to, unless, while, who and which. Section B has five longer tasks: a pen pal advertisement to read, a jumbled story to put in order, a poem called 'Nationalities', a dialogue set at an internet café, and a gap-fill composition about language and culture. Many items link to themes of nationalities and communication.
