P.5 Social Studies & RE Beginning of Term III Examination 2023

This Primary 5 exam combines Social Studies and Religious Education and was set for the beginning of Term III in 2023. It has 55 questions and a time limit of 2 hours 15 minutes. Section A has 40 short-answer questions. Section B has 15 structured questions. The Social Studies questions cover physical features, climate, vegetation, the migration of ethnic groups, missionaries and colonial rule, district leadership, children's rights and school projects. In the Religious Education questions, learners answer either the Christian or the Islamic option. These cover creation, the flood, deliverance from Egypt, holy books, fasting and worship. The last question, on authority, is for everyone. Teachers can use it for assessment and pupils can use it for revision.
