Primary Five English End of Term III Exam 2022

This Primary Five English examination paper was set for the end of Term III in 2022. It takes 2 hours 30 minutes and carries 100 marks across two sections. Section A tests grammar and vocabulary: correct word forms, filling in missing words, alphabetical order, plurals, abbreviations, one-word substitutes, joining and rewriting sentences with given structures, punctuation, question tags and proverbs. Section B covers comprehension and writing. Learners answer questions on a poem about football, a passage about law breakers and the police, and a bus notice. They also put sentences about phones in order to form a composition and complete a gap-filling story about Uganda. Learners can use it for revision and practice.
