Primary Five English Lesson Notes – Terms I to III
0 views 0 downloads 0 shares 3 October 2026

These P.5 English lesson notes cover all three terms and are organised lesson by lesson. The first part deals with punctuation: capital letters, full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, commas, apostrophes and quotation marks. It then moves on to nouns. Topics include proper and common nouns, regular and irregular plurals, compound nouns, collective nouns and the different ways abstract nouns are formed from adjectives, verbs and other nouns. Gender pairs are also covered. Each lesson gives short explanations and examples, followed by an evaluation exercise. Many of the examples use Ugandan names and places. Teachers can use the notes to plan lessons, and pupils can use them for practice and revision.
