S4 Geography Paper 2 Holiday Work: Rest of Africa, North America and China

This holiday assignment for Senior Four Geography Paper 2 has seven structured questions in three regional sections. The Rest of Africa section asks about how gorges and flood plains form, the problems of using rivers as waterways, and industrial centres in Egypt. The North America section includes a pie chart exercise on Canada's grain production, the growth and functions of New York City, and fishing in British Columbia. The China section covers how the Himalayas formed and why they matter, and how rainfall is distributed. Many questions ask learners to draw sketch maps and explain causes, effects and solutions.
