Senior 5 Religious Education: King David and Nathan’s Prophecy

These Trinity College Nabbingo notes examine kingship in Israel through the account of David and Nathan in 2 Samuel 7:1–17. They outline David’s wish to build a temple and the promises concerning his son and the continuation of his dynasty. The slides present Solomon’s succession, temple construction and the coming of the Messiah as fulfilments of Nathan’s prophecy.
