P.5 English Composition and Comprehension Lesson Notes – Term 2

These lesson notes are for Primary Five English composition and comprehension in Term 2. They cover two themes: letter writing and communication. Each lesson has a vocabulary or spelling activity, then grammar practice. This includes joining sentences with 'so', 'either...or' and 'unless', and rewriting them with 'needn't', 'need to' and 'needn't have'. Learners practise writing friendly and invitation letters, put jumbled letters and stories in order, and write compositions from pictures. They also answer comprehension questions on dialogues, letters, an invitation card, telephone call records and a directory page. Several exercises refer to pages in standard P.5 English pupil's books.
