P.5 Grammar Lesson Notes for Term I: Tenses

These Primary Five English grammar notes for Term I are about tenses. They cover the simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous forms of the present and past tenses, plus the simple future. Each lesson gives the rules for forming the tense, shows sample sentences and ends with practice exercises. Learners fill in verb forms and rewrite sentences as negatives, questions, passive voice and question tags. The notes also show how to use while, when and as to join sentences, and how to express the future with 'going to'. Teachers can use them in class, and pupils can use them for practice or revision.
