P.5 English Language Lesson Notes – Term I
0 views 0 downloads 0 shares 3 October 2026

These Primary Five English notes cover the Term I grammar work in a numbered, lesson-by-lesson format. The first part deals with punctuation: capital letters, full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, commas, apostrophes and quotation marks. The notes then move on to nouns, covering proper, common, compound, collective and abstract nouns. They explain how to form plurals, including irregular ones, and how to make abstract nouns from adjectives, verbs and other nouns. Masculine, feminine, common and neuter gender are also included. Each lesson gives short explanations and examples, followed by evaluation exercises such as punctuating sentences, filling in blanks and rewriting sentences.
