P.5 English Lesson Notes – Term One (Punctuation, Nouns and Gender)
0 views 0 downloads 0 shares 3 October 2026

These teacher-prepared English notes for Primary Five are arranged as numbered lessons. They start with punctuation: capital letters, full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, commas, apostrophes and quotation marks. Next come nouns. The notes cover proper and common nouns, the rules for forming plurals, compound nouns, collective nouns, and abstract nouns formed from adjectives, verbs and other nouns. A section on gender lists masculine and feminine pairs. Each lesson gives short explanations and worked examples, then an evaluation activity where learners punctuate sentences, fill in blanks or rewrite sentences. Teachers can use the notes for classroom instruction, and learners can use them for revision.
