This is a short end-of-term assessment for Middle Class nursery learners from Hillside Nursery School, Naalya, dated 2023. It covers Learning Areas 1, 2 and 3. Learners name and colour common fruits such as apples, oranges, mangoes, bananas and watermelons. They also draw important places like a church and a mosque, and name birds kept at home. The paper ends with an oral section where the teacher asks simple questions and gives instructions, for example asking a child's age, how many legs a cow has, and what ears are used for. Children also follow commands like clapping their hands or pointing to the roof. Teachers can use it to check early vocabulary, listening and everyday knowledge.
