Middle Class Language Development Beginning of Term III Exam 2023

This five-page nursery exam was set for the start of Term III in 2023. It covers Learning Area 2 (Language Development) for Middle Class children aged four to five. Learners colour pictures that match given letters and tick the correctly spelt word from jumbled choices such as chair, box, bed and cup. They also match identical words and draw the objects, copy a simple sentence that describes a picture, and match, name and colour everyday items like a pencil, tin, chair, table and book. Teachers can use it to check early reading, letter recognition and pre-writing skills.
