Middle Class Learning Area 5 End of Year Examination 2023 (Term 3)

This is a three-page end-of-year examination for nursery Middle Class learners in Learning Area 5, which covers early language and literacy. The Pearl Educational Consult set it in 2023. Children write syllables they hear and join letter sounds such as ha, ca, pa, ma and fa to make words. They also colour the correct path, copy a given pattern and read short words like had, fan, mad and an. The tasks build early reading, sound blending and handwriting. Teachers can use the paper for end-of-term assessment, and parents can use it for revision practice at home.
