Middle Class Reading and English COVID-19 Revision Work 2021

These are revision worksheets made by a school's nursery section for Middle Class learners to use at home during the COVID-19 period in 2021. Each page has spaces for the child's name, class and age. The early pages cover reading skills. Learners identify first sounds, match sounds to pictures, blend letters into short words and build syllables with 'e'. They also fill in missing sounds and rearrange jumbled words. The later English pages ask learners to match identical words, circle and tick the correct spellings, read short sentences and draw what they describe, and copy simple sentences such as 'It is a ball.' The tasks build early phonics, word recognition and handwriting.
