Middle Class Reading End of Term III Examination 2022

This is a two-page reading exam for Middle Class nursery learners aged 4 to 5, set as the end of Term III examination for 2022. Learners read the five vowels and join consonants with the vowel 'a' to make syllables such as ta, fa, ma and ba. They also build short three-letter words like mat, man, tan, bat and pat. Other tasks ask them to finish simple sentences such as 'This is a ___' using pictures, circle the correct vowel sound, read and draw, and match words like pen, pot, apple and tin to pictures. There are spaces at the top for the learner's name, school and class.
