UACE Luganda Paper 2 (P360/2): Translation, Composition, Comprehension and Summary

This is a three-hour Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Luganda exam, Paper 2 (P360/2), in four sections. Section A asks candidates to translate an English passage about English language use in Uganda into Luganda, and a Luganda passage about the causes of mental illness into English. Section B offers a choice: write one long composition on topics such as teenage pregnancy, women's rights or agriculture and poverty, or write two shorter functional pieces, such as a speech, a newspaper article or a letter to the Katikkiro. Section C is a comprehension passage on the history of the women's equality movement, followed by questions. Section D is a 100-word summary of a passage about edible termites (enswa ennaka) in Buganda.
